Our Why

America's drier climate shown here - west of the 100th meridian.

Healthy Soils and Communities

Land west of the 100th Meridian has always had unique challenges due to its drier climate.  Much of the grasslands and terrain in the Plains and West are not suitable for crops and are seriously degraded.

Retiring landowners are interested in conservation programs, their leases, and succession plans.

Landowners and Conservation

Non-Operating and Retiring Landowners want to leave a legacy.

They want to:

  • explore conservation programs
  • renew and extend leases
  • have help with succession plans.

Sadly, research has shown they are least likely to be involved in the conservation decisions for THEIR land, especially if they're women.

Regenerative ranching has proven it ability build soil health, human, and animal health,

Regenerative Ranching

This type of ranching has been proven to help increase carbon and improve the health of the soil, while using the land to feed our livestock -- that's fewer cows, pigs and chickens that need to be in Confined Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs).

It's Personal

We are You

We know why the land is important to you.  We know the importance of a dream.  In the 1880s my family became landowners thanks to the Homestead Act.  Their dream lasted 4 generations.

As the 5th generation who's gone through this transition, and as a land professional, I helped build a proven system to help others with their transition, or make their enterprise in the country a reality.
